Full Stack Engineer (AI)

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in the office

Salary: €3,500–€4,000 gross per month, plus applicable short-term and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Build and maintain backend services with Java and Spring.
• Develop user-facing applications with React and TypeScript, owning capabilities end to end.
• Design secure REST and agent-to-agent integrations and ensure quality through unit testing, manual validation, and test automation.
• Contribute to requirements analysis and architecture decisions affecting team delivery.
• Collaborate on deployment automation, observability, and portfolio security across environments.
• Use AI-assisted tooling and hirify.global’s GenAI Platform to optimize the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Production-level Java experience with object-oriented design, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Experience building component-based web applications, with React and TypeScript experience strongly valued.
• Solid SQL skills covering CRUD operations, schema design, and database-backed services, plus strong data structures and algorithms knowledge.
• Proficiency with Git workflows, Linux command-line usage, containerization with Docker or Podman, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Availability to work from Vilnius with at least 3 days per week in the office.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM or agent development, including function calling, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt engineering, or agent-tool protocols.
• Familiarity with Terraform, OpenTofu, Python, Kubernetes, or other scripting and infrastructure tools.
• Background in fintech, capital markets, or regulated industries.
