Junior Software Test and Integration Engineer

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; office near Parque das Nações / Oriente

What you will do

• Execute functional, performance, and regression test plans for WES/WAF software.
• Document defects, support resolution with Development, and maintain testing documentation.
• Support integration of WES software with customer systems by configuring interfaces and commissioning software onsite.
• Maintain system documentation and customer training materials.
• Troubleshoot incidents escalated from first-level support and document case handovers.
• Participate in the 24/7 support rotation after onboarding.

Requirements

• Technical degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in software testing, integration, or support.
• Basic SQL and debugging skills.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar tools.
• Strong communication, teamwork, structured problem-solving, and quality focus.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift rotation and motivation to grow into a senior technical specialist.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Selenium, Appium, or TestLink.
