Software Development Engineer II (Java/React)

Salary: €43,000–€60,500 per year, with potential to increase up to €69,000 based on sustained performance.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deliver software features and services for the TAAP platform used by travel-agent partners.
• Write clean, tested, and maintainable code primarily with Java and JVM-based technologies.
• Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces with React.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decisions for scalable B2B solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver end-to-end platform experiences.
• Troubleshoot production issues, review code, and improve reliability, performance, and engineering practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience building scalable, distributed systems.
• Experience with Java, Kotlin, or Scala and production-quality React applications.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, system design, cloud platforms, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proficient English communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively and autonomously in an agile environment.
