Developer Relations Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote within Germany, France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, or The Netherlands; regular invitations to the Berlin office for 3–5 days every two months and significant travel across Europe are expected.

Salary: €90,000–€160,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Represent Langfuse at conferences, meetups, workshops, customer events, partner events, and developer community gatherings across Europe.
• Deliver live demos and technical sessions covering tracing, evaluations, prompt management, datasets, metrics, and LLM engineering workflows.
• Create field-ready demos, workshop runbooks, talk abstracts, event pages, follow-up emails, signup flows, and conference-in-a-box materials.
• Organize Langfuse-hosted meetups, workshops, dinners, and technical gatherings for high-quality developer audiences.
• Collaborate with field marketing, sales, solutions engineering, product marketing, and engineering.
• Turn event feedback into improved messaging, demos, documentation, talks, customer stories, and product feedback.

Requirements

• Experience in developer relations, product marketing engineering, solutions engineering, field engineering, developer advocacy, or technical community roles.
• Experience speaking at developer conferences, meetups, workshops, webinars, or technical customer events.
• Ability to create technical content, demos, videos, talks, open-source projects, or educational materials.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Europe, give talks, run demos, host events, and engage with developers and technical leaders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
• Comfort working independently in ambiguous environments without a mature playbook.

Nice to have

• Previous experience as an engineer or a deeply technical operator.
• Ability to write, debug, and maintain code for demos and workshop materials.
• Expertise in AI engineering, LLM observability, evaluations, agents, or developer tools.
• Original technical perspectives valued by experienced developers.
