Turkish LQA Specialist (Gaming)

Location: Hybrid role in Dublin, Ireland; candidates must currently be based in Dublin and authorized to work in Ireland for the duration of the 1-year contract. Relocation support and visa sponsorship are not available.

Game localization provider delivering text and audio localization, localization QA, and quality control for games across languages, regions, and platforms.

What you will do

• Verify Turkish linguistic accuracy, including grammar, syntax, spelling, punctuation, and approved terminology.
• Review localized text and audio for cultural appropriateness, context, consistency, and politically sensitive content.
• Check the implementation and display of localized text in mobile games and identify UI issues.
• Identify, isolate, document, and retest localization, implementation, and user interface bugs.
• Run test cases and checklists, and collaborate on creating new test cases from existing templates.
• Work with Turkish translators, external vendors, linguists, and LQA specialists to maintain linguistic quality.

Requirements

• Native-level Turkish and excellent written and verbal English.
• Current residence in Dublin and full authorization to work in Ireland for the full contract period.
• Strong interest in video games and the gaming industry.
• Outstanding attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to write accurate, concise, and unambiguous documentation in Turkish and English.
• Good PC knowledge and familiarity with Google Workspace; 1+ year of localization QA experience is advantageous.

Nice to have

• University degree, equivalent qualification, or relevant experience.
• Experience with bug tracking or task management platforms such as Jira or Trello.
• Copywriting, editing, or translation experience.
