Penetration Testing Intern (Cybersecurity)

Location: Fully on-site at the Waterford office, Ireland, for the duration of the internship

What you will do

• Perform penetration testing and ethical hacking activities for internal and external applications.
• Run vulnerability scans and analyze the results.
• Present penetration-testing findings and supporting data to application support teams.
• Work with associated teams to help remediate identified vulnerabilities.
• Research developments in information security, vulnerabilities, and emerging threats.

Requirements

• Current third-year degree student required to complete a mandatory internship or work placement as part of the degree program.
• Must return to studies after the internship and provide confirmation that the placement is a course requirement.
• Passion for technology and information security, with enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
• Interest in ethical-hacking tools and techniques, problem-solving, and continuous learning.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse professionals.
