TL;DR
Manager Project Controlling (Project Finance): Leading project controlling and partnering with business and local management to monitor costs, revenue recognition, cash flow, forecasts, risks, and opportunities with an accent on budgeting, financial compliance, and project performance. Focus on guiding Project Controllers, taking hands-on responsibility for selected projects, and improving ERP, reporting, and controlling processes.

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia; hybrid arrangement with home office possible 2 days a week.

Basic wage component: €3,700 gross per month minimum offered salary, with final compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

What you will do

  • Act as a Finance Business Partner to the BU Controller and local management, providing financial insights and decision support.
  • Lead and guide Project Controllers while managing selected projects hands-on.
  • Monitor project costs, revenue recognition, cash flow, forecasts, risks, and opportunities through regular reviews.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial compliance, audit support, and corrective actions for budget deviations.
  • Improve project controlling processes, ERP systems, reporting, and commercial awareness across the organization.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in project controlling, FP&A, and finance within an international, project-driven environment.
  • Experience in industrial or construction-related settings is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and prioritization skills.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, accounting principles, local taxation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Expertise with ERP and reporting systems, preferably SAP or IFS, plus advanced Excel skills and interest in BI tools and data analytics.
  • Fluent English required; German is an advantage.
