Platform Engineer (AI)

Location: Bangkok, Thailand; hybrid work model

Company

hirify.global is working with an established company building its own AI platform for internal business use.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain AI agents, onboard users, add tools and integrations, resolve issues, and gather feedback.
• Extend the AI Gateway with data sources, OPA policies, retrieval capabilities, and audit logging based on default-deny and least-privilege principles.
• Improve RAG pipelines by ingesting documents, enhancing embedding and retrieval quality, labelling data sensitivity, and measuring answer accuracy.
• Maintain LLM serving with vLLM and Ollama on GPU infrastructure, evaluate models, manage context and memory budgets, and integrate external APIs responsibly.
• Build automated AI workflows for reporting, support, and data analysis from proof of concept through production deployment and post-launch support.
• Document AI tools and train employees to use them correctly and safely while tracking usage metrics.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of programming experience with strong Python skills.
• Comfort working with Linux and command-line tools.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.
• Hands-on experience building LLM applications, including APIs, RAG, agents and tool calling, or fine-tuning, with deep knowledge of at least one area.
• Understanding of LLM fundamentals, AI security, prompt injection, data leakage, and authorization layers for company data.
• Daily experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Copilot; ability to learn unfamiliar systems and build on existing code.
