Chief Operating Officer (COO) (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Luxembourg, Barcelona, or Amsterdam; three days per week in-office, with travel up to 50% between Luxembourg and Milan

What you will do

• Direct daily operational activities and align execution with long-term company objectives.
• Identify operational bottlenecks, standardize workflows, and implement scalable processes.
• Align operations with Product, Tech, Business Development, and Compliance for seamless end-to-end execution.
• Define and monitor operational KPIs and establish reporting frameworks for data-driven decisions.
• Build resilient operational systems to support rapid user acquisition and geographic expansion.
• Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing operational teams.

Requirements

• Executive experience as a COO, VP of Operations, or in a similar senior leadership role within a fast-growing scale-up, technology, or fintech environment.
• Demonstrated success designing, scaling, and managing complex operational processes.
• Strong analytical ability to turn complex business challenges into actionable operational frameworks.
• Experience building, scaling, and empowering high-performing operational teams.
• Hands-on ownership and problem-solving experience in high-stakes, fast-paced environments.
• Ability to travel up to 50% between Luxembourg and Milan.
