What you will do

• Design combat and non-combat NPCs and their behaviors for a new IP.
• Write high-level and detailed documentation defining NPC behavior and requirements.
• Implement gameplay AI using behavior trees.
• Understand animation requirements and dependencies for characters.
• Use in-house object-oriented scripting, database, and animation tools.
• Communicate complex design ideas clearly across a diverse development team.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional game industry experience.
• Experience with visual and object-oriented scripting.
• Experience managing character animation requirements.
• Ability to collaborate in a creative team and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, self-critique, and feedback skills.
• Regularly play and understand modern video games.

Nice to have

• End-to-end participation in a AAA project in gameplay or AI design.
• Experience working with multiple development engines.
• Interest in a variety of video game genres and titles.
