What you will do

• Support Resident Teachers in delivering engaging, technology-supported enquiry-based lessons.
• Help maintain a rigorous classroom environment and promote student engagement and academic excellence.
• Set ambitious learning goals, provide feedback, and help students internalize their progress.
• Assess student progress with Resident Teachers and adapt instructional content and delivery techniques.
• Communicate with parents through email, telephone, and parent-teacher conferences.
• Participate in co-curricular activities, collaborative committees, supervision duties, team meetings, and professional development.

Requirements

• Pursuing a B.Ed in Foundation Phase Education and entering the third or fourth year of study, or completing a bachelor's degree and PGCE in 2027.
• Must not be a qualified teacher at the start of 2027.
• Provisionally registered with SACE.
• Teaching experience or curriculum knowledge in English and Mathematics.
• Understanding of children and the ability to connect with the relevant age group.
• Ability to collaborate, communicate openly, use technology for instruction, and apply feedback to improve teaching practice.

Nice to have

• Experience with Singapore Maths and THRASS English.
• Experience or understanding of Cambridge curriculum objectives.
