Information Security Officer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Nicosia or Limassol, Cyprus; hybrid workplace

hirify.global's Engineering – Information Security department is responsible for protecting people, information assets, systems, and third-party services.

What you will do

• Support the implementation and maintenance of the information security program.
• Identify and address security violations and inefficiencies across systems and applications.
• Assess third-party providers, cloud services, software, technology vendors, and outsourced services.
• Monitor supplier compliance and improve information security controls across the supply chain.
• Work with Legal to ensure contracts and service agreements include appropriate information security provisions.
• Promote security awareness and recommend improvements to reduce information security risks.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Information Security or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in information security or a similar role.
• Experience with information security governance and developing policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of operational, physical, network, system, and application security.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, GDPR, and DORA.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Greek are required.

Nice to have

• CompTIA Security+, ISC2 CC, EC-Council CEH, or another relevant cybersecurity or ICT certification.
