Project Quality Manager (Waste-to-X)

Location: Levice, Slovakia; hybrid work with home office possible two days a week; willingness to travel up to 20%.

Salary: €3,000 gross per month minimum, with final compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Lead quality assurance for EPC waste-to-X projects and act as the main quality interface for project leadership and customers.
• Develop quality strategies and manage QA/QC requirements to support regulatory and project compliance.
• Identify risks of non-conformities and oversee inspections, quality control, and project documentation.
• Train project teams on quality systems, tools, and processes.
• Analyse quality issues and implement corrective and preventive solutions using 8D/RCA, CAPA, Lean, and Six Sigma.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 6+ years of experience in waste-to-X, power generation, oil and gas, or project/site quality management.
• Experience with welded constructions, welding, and NDT methods including RT, UT, MT, PT, and VT.
• Knowledge of harmonised standards such as EN 12952, EN 13480, and EN 1090, as well as ASME BPVC.
• Knowledge of corrosion protection, including FROSIO, and quality or project management methods such as Lean, Six Sigma, and 8D.
• Familiarity with UK/EU directives including PED 2014/68/EU and MRL 2006/42/EC.
• Proficient English and willingness to travel up to 20%.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of German or French.
• IWE qualification or equivalent welding expertise.
