Electrical Engineer (MV/LV)

Location: Levice, Slovakia; hybrid arrangement with home office possible two days per week.

Salary: From €2,200 gross per month, with final compensation based on level, skills, experience, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Design and engineer medium-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems for industrial and power generation projects.
• Size and specify transformers, MV/LV switchgear, motor control centers, busbar systems, and distribution boards.
• Lead E-house layout design, coordinating switchgear rooms, battery rooms, cable basements, and HVAC equipment rooms.
• Coordinate interfaces with instrumentation, process, mechanical, civil, and automation disciplines, suppliers, and third-party inspectors.
• Provide engineering support during construction, commissioning, site testing, FAT/SAT, and start-up activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or technical college degree in Electrical Engineering and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with MV systems up to 36 kV and LV systems up to 690 V.
• Knowledge of IEC 60076, IEC 61439, IEC 62271, IEC 60364, and IEC 61936 standards.
• Experience with protection relays, Siemens DIGSI, IEC 61850 configuration, motor starting methods, VFDs, UPS, and DC battery systems.
• Proficiency with EPLAN and strong written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Siemens SIMARIS.
