Automation Engineer (Instrumentation)

Location: Levice, Slovakia; hybrid work with home office possible 2 days a week.

Salary: From €2,200 gross per month; final compensation depends on level, skills, experience, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Design and size instrumentation, including hook-up drawings and instrument sketches.
• Review and approve EIC documentation from instrumentation suppliers and manufacturers.
• Prepare and review instrument location plans, cable and junction-box schedules, routing layouts, installation details, and interconnection diagrams.
• Participate in FAT and SAT activities and provide site support during instrumentation erection and commissioning.
• Supervise instrumentation suppliers and ensure complete, accurate, and timely project documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Hands-on experience with pressure, temperature, level, and flow instrumentation, as well as industrial electrical and automation systems.
• Familiarity with ATEX and SIL requirements.
• Proficiency with electrical drawing packages; EPLAN 8 is preferred and COMOS is a plus.
• Very good written and spoken English is required. Strong autonomy and decision-making skills are also expected.
