AOSP Engineer (Android): Building and debugging Android platforms for Android-based video conferencing devices with an accent on AOSP framework development, Android IPC, security, and hardware interfaces. Focus on developing Android HALs and AIDL integrations, working across application and kernel interfaces, and delivering complete Android platforms or components.
Location: Oslo, Norway; Sweden; Germany

What you will do
- Build and debug Android platforms for video conferencing devices.
- Develop across the Android middle layer, applications, framework, and kernel interfaces.
- Develop or integrate Android HALs and AIDL interfaces.
- Work with Android IPC mechanisms including Binder and HwBinder.
- Deliver complete Android platforms or components from development through production.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with AOSP framework development and successful delivery of at least one full Android platform or component.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and/or Java/Kotlin.
- Experience building and debugging Android platforms.
- Experience with Android security concepts, including app permissions and SELinux.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD.
