hirify.global is hiring for an equipment reliability and manufacturing engineering position supporting production operations.

What you will do

• Analyze equipment breakdowns, recurring failures, and chronic machine issues to reduce downtime.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions for equipment malfunctions, process deviations, and product defects.
• Improve OEE through downtime reduction, cycle time optimization, equipment upgrades, and process improvements.
• Support machine conversions, including setup, qualification, troubleshooting, and production ramp-up.
• Provide technical support to Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, Process Engineering, and production teams.
• Lead and mentor sustaining line technicians while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.

Requirements

• Experience with equipment troubleshooting, reliability improvement, and manufacturing support.
• Ability to lead root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
• Knowledge of OEE, downtime reduction, MTBF improvement, defect reduction, and manufacturing yield improvement.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering, quality, maintenance, and production teams.
• Availability to work onsite in Seremban, Malaysia.
