TL;DR
Technical SEO Specialist (AI): Building automated SEO workflows, structured data implementations, and technical solutions for high-traffic betting and gaming platforms with an accent on crawling, indexation, rendering, site architecture, and performance. Focus on investigating root causes through code, APIs, logs, and data, applying AI-assisted analysis, and developing tools that improve quality assurance and delivery speed.

Location: Full-time onsite role at the Melbourne office, Australia

What you will do

  • Run technical SEO audits covering crawling, indexation, rendering, site architecture, internal linking, and performance.
  • Investigate technical SEO issues using crawling tools, developer tools, source code, Search Console, logs, and data analysis.
  • Manage structured data and schema implementations across website templates and individual pages.
  • Build internal SEO tools, scripts, automated workflows, and AI/LLM-assisted processes to reduce repetitive work and improve quality assurance.
  • Implement technical and content fixes on Stake.com and monitor site health before issues affect organic performance.
  • Report technical findings clearly to Engineering, Product, CRM, Marketing, Content, and other technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in SEO, technical SEO, web development, digital analytics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong understanding of crawling, indexing, canonicalisation, redirects, internal linking, sitemaps, robots directives, and structured data.
  • Comfort working with websites and content management systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to investigate technical problems independently.
  • Experience or education in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Ability to work full-time from the Melbourne office.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Search Console.
  • Experience with Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, or data querying.
  • Experience with coding and programming principles.
  • Interest in automating repetitive SEO tasks.
