Senior AI Software Application Engineer

What you will do

• Develop and deliver technical training, workshops, presentations, tutorials, and application documentation for AI software tools.
• Help customers map, optimize, and deploy CNN, transformer, and LLM workloads on customer silicon platforms.
• Reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues across pre-silicon simulation and post-silicon hardware development.
• Build proof-of-concept solutions, benchmark applications, and demonstration platforms for the AI software toolchain.
• Analyze AI performance bottlenecks and recommend software optimization and hardware/software co-design improvements.
• Coordinate with customers, R&D, and application engineering teams to validate fixes, enhancements, and performance optimizations.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with at least 6 years of relevant industry experience, or a bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of experience.
• Deep knowledge of AI and machine learning algorithms, including CNNs, transformer architectures, LLMs, deep learning optimization, and AI model deployment.
• Strong programming skills in Python, shell scripting, and C/C++.
• Experience designing, developing, debugging, and optimizing software for embedded systems and SoC platforms.
• Experience profiling AI workloads and working across pre-silicon simulation or emulation environments and post-silicon hardware platforms.

Nice to have

• Linux device driver development and debugging experience.
• Experience with NPUs, DSPs, GPUs, or custom AI accelerators.
• Knowledge of compiler technologies, runtime frameworks, and AI software stacks.
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX, or similar AI frameworks.
• Understanding of heterogeneous computing and hardware/software co-optimization.
