Social Media Specialist

Location: Colombia. Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.

What you will do

• Plan and maintain social media calendars and schedule organic posts across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, with occasional TikTok publishing.
• Ensure content quality, accuracy, approvals, and on-time delivery through task management workflows.
• Contribute to content brainstorms and identify opportunities that support marketing goals.
• Analyze channel and content performance and recommend optimizations for timing, formats, and captions.
• Monitor social media trends, content formats, platform updates, and competitor activity.
• Communicate calendar changes, issues, and opportunities with internal marketing, creative, brand, and social growth teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in social media management.
• Experience managing social media content publishing for a business.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
• Experience with social media management and reporting tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later, or Buffer.
• Basic copywriting, photo and video editing, social media analytics, and KPI knowledge.
