Principal Production Test Engineer

Base salary: $95,000–$245,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop, deploy, and maintain in-process and final acceptance testing solutions for electro-mechanical and electro-optical systems.
• Derive system-level integration and test requirements from mission requirements and define test plans, approaches, and detailed procedures.
• Design and develop test equipment, author complex system checkout procedures, and train production users.
• Manage priorities, scope, schedules, costs, and program or task performance across larger activities.
• Identify system-level technical risks and develop and execute mitigation strategies.
• Troubleshoot tested assets, identify root causes and corrective actions, and determine asset disposition.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, systems engineering, applied physics, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in systems engineering or a relevant role.
• Experience developing and implementing integration and test approaches throughout a program lifecycle.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with multidisciplinary program teams, leadership, customers, and non-technical personnel.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance is required.

Nice to have

• Defense industry background.
• Experience with CCA, electro-mechanical assemblies, or MEMS devices.
• Secret security clearance desired; Top Secret security clearance preferred.
