Event Technology Manager (Cvent)

Location: Must be based in California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, or Wisconsin. Candidates local to an hirify.global office work on a hybrid schedule; candidates outside commuting distance may work remotely.

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 per year

What you will do

• Own client event technology engagements from planning through delivery.
• Build and maintain project plans, timelines, resource schedules, milestones, dependencies, and risk tracking.
• Configure Cvent registration sites, mobile apps, and related event technology builds.
• Support event builds on RainFocus and Swoogo as needed.
• Serve as the day-to-day client contact, lead status calls, and communicate timeline updates.
• Manage project documentation, invoice reconciliation, budget tracking, and coordination with contractors and internal specialists.

Requirements

• 5+ years of event technology delivery experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Cvent experience; Cvent certification is strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines and priorities.
• Experience serving as a primary client contact and communicating proactively about risks and issues.
• Ability to manage invoice reconciliation and budget tracking.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of RainFocus and Swoogo.
• PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification.
• Cvent certification.
