Product Management Intern (Fintech)

Location: Remote, Peru

Salary: $800 USD gross per month as an independent contractor

hirify.global is a fintech and retail payments company building flexible payment products that improve shopping experiences and merchant conversions.

What you will do

• Assist the product manager with drafting, organizing, prioritizing, and tracking tickets for payments-service changes and improvements.
• Gather stakeholder context, summarize information, prepare materials for payment-provider meetings, and answer routine internal questions.
• Learn and apply SQL to analyze payment data and support dashboards covering payment performance, processing failures, and operational health.
• Flag anomalies in payment flows and help assemble data for reviews and investigations.
• Maintain documentation for payment flows, fee structures, and operational processes.
• Participate in agile meetings and collaborate with engineering, operations, compliance, support, Design, and Data teams.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Interest in payments, fintech, and complex financial systems.
• Curiosity, logical problem-solving, strong attention to detail, and effective written and verbal communication.
• Comfort working with data and willingness to learn SQL; prior SQL experience is not required.
• Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required.
• Remote work is available from Peru.

• Experience through internships, projects, or extracurricular activities related to product, fintech, data analysis, or startups.
