Loan Research Negotiation Specialist II (Mortgage)

Location: Office-based in Moorpark, California

Salary: $45,000–$66,000 per year

What you will do

• Negotiate and formalize retention or liquidation workout solutions with defaulted borrowers.
• Analyze financial statements, loan documentation, and related data to determine appropriate workout solutions.
• Conduct gain/loss analyses and compare potential future losses with short sale or deed-in-lieu outcomes.
• Prepare complete transaction approval packages for management review.
• Review delinquent mortgages daily and process applications requiring additional oversight or investor involvement.
• Ensure activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Experience with first- and second-mortgage liens and short sale or liquidation processes is preferred.
• Professional demeanor and effective communication with customers by phone and email.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to work in the office in Moorpark, California.
