Senior Finance Project Manager

Location: Hybrid in Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate large, cross-functional finance projects from scoping and analysis through execution and completion.
• Coordinate work across funding and treasury, investor relations, financial planning and analysis, controlling, accounting, tax, legal, and other business functions.
• Prepare financial analyses, business cases, models, recommendations, and decision materials for senior management.
• Establish project governance, timelines, milestones, decision points, reporting, and escalation processes.
• Support bank financing and M&A projects, including financing materials, lender coordination, negotiations, due diligence, transaction planning, and post-completion activities.
• Improve cross-functional finance project management practices and embed learnings into recurring processes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in finance, investment banking, transaction services, corporate finance, consulting, project management, or a comparable field.
• Experience leading complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
• Strong financial modelling, analytical, organisational, and project management skills.
• Experience with bank financing, M&A transactions, due diligence, or other high-impact corporate finance initiatives.
• Ability to work independently, create structure in ambiguous situations, engage senior leaders, and balance strategic thinking with execution.
• Professional fluency in English and the ability to work in a hybrid setup in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
