Software Developer (React Native) (React Native/TypeScript): Building and scaling high-performance weather applications used by millions of people across multiple brands and platforms with an accent on clean architecture, mobile performance, and automated app deployments. Focus on optimizing high-traffic applications, refactoring legacy systems, integrating AWS-backed services, and delivering features through Jenkins and Fastlane.
Location: Hybrid work at the Oakville, Canada location; candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and optimize high-performance features for React Native applications.
- Own features end to end, from clean implementation through deployment to the App Store and Google Play.
- Optimize mobile applications for low latency, heavy traffic spikes, and large-scale usage.
- Refactor legacy systems and develop new functionality using modern engineering practices and GitHub Copilot.
- Collaborate through code reviews and engineering best practices across AWS, Go, Node, Kubernetes, and microservices environments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with React Native and React.
- Strong TypeScript proficiency and experience with unit and integration testing.
- Experience deploying mobile applications to the App Store and Google Play using Jenkins and Fastlane.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, containerization, and microservices.
- Comfort using GitHub Copilot and working with both legacy and greenfield codebases.
- Eligibility to work in Canada and availability for hybrid work at the Oakville location.
