TL;DR
Oracle DBA (Oracle/SQL): Operating and optimizing Oracle database environments with an accent on Oracle 19c, RMAN recovery, Data Guard, and SQL engine performance. Focus on automating database operations, debugging incidents through resolution, and managing changes across production environments.
Location: Porto, Portugal; hybrid work with office attendance two days per week

What you will do
- Operate and maintain Oracle database environments.
- Optimize SQL code and database management system engines.
- Automate database operations through scripting with a DevOps mindset.
- Manage Oracle recovery with Recovery Manager (RMAN) and Oracle Data Guard.
- Debug and troubleshoot incidents through the full incident-to-resolution cycle.
- Handle database change request management.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as an Oracle DBA in operations.
- Professional experience with Oracle 19c, RMAN, and Oracle Data Guard.
- Strong SQL optimization, debugging, troubleshooting, automation, and scripting skills.
- Fluent English at B2 level or higher and Portuguese at C1 level.
- Based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit.
- Available for a hybrid schedule in Porto two days per week.

- Experience with MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
