Software Engineer (React)

Location: Krakow, Poland; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in the office for candidates within reasonable commuting distance

Salary: 201,000–252,000 PLN annual base pay

What you will do

• Develop and maintain a shared React component library for a consistent, scalable user interface.
• Build features and improvements for the React-based micro-frontend App Shell, including inter-application communication.
• Contribute to migrating legacy .NET applications to React and micro-frontend solutions.
• Implement and debug production Java backend services that support the front end.
• Configure and monitor CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions, and participate in GCP deployments using Terraform.
• Write automated tests, participate in code reviews, and troubleshoot front-end and occasional backend API issues.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and React skills, plus hands-on experience building and maintaining Java backend services.
• Practical experience with cloud-native architecture, especially GCP or a comparable major cloud platform.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Webpack, and npm.
• Understanding of the full software development lifecycle, from stakeholder requirements analysis through implementation.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to learning.
