Senior Site Reliability Engineer (AWS): Ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of Cat Digital's mission-critical web-based systems and infrastructure with an accent on AWS infrastructure, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and containerization. Focus on delivering technical roadmaps, analyzing technical gaps, conducting risk assessments and root cause analysis, and resolving infrastructure issues.
Location: Kosice, Slovakia
Salary: €41,736 annual base minimum pay; €3,600+ gross per month stated in the benefits package.

What you will do
- Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of mission-critical web-based systems and infrastructure.
- Deliver technical roadmaps for business processes and applications.
- Analyze business requirements and technical gaps supporting business strategies.
- Conduct risk assessments, root cause analysis, corrective actions, quality assurance, and routine issue resolution.
- Communicate client feedback to technology teams to improve deliverables and meet business requirements.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience in site reliability engineering, systems infrastructure, and technical troubleshooting.
- Experience with AWS infrastructure and services.
- Experience with infrastructure as code, including CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Experience with CI/CD solutions such as GitHub and Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency in a programming language such as Python or JavaScript.
- Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Nice to have
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Thousand Eyes, Grafana, AppDynamics, Datadog, New Relic, or Dynatrace.
- Knowledge of Node.js, Next.js, and similar headless services.
- Understanding of distributed tracing with OpenTelemetry or similar tools.
- AWS Associate certification or higher.
