R&D Data & Process Lead (Food Ingredients)

Location: Brabrand, Denmark; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Develop and maintain the information architecture for R&D, Analysis, and Applications.
• Map systems, tools, integrations, data flows, and information governance across innovation workflows.
• Define metadata standards, data definitions, documentation practices, and digital best practices.
• Collaborate with scientists, technical experts, business stakeholders, and IT teams to identify data and workflow improvements.
• Support digital and IT projects by defining requirements, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring architectural alignment.
• Deliver smaller data and reporting solutions, support their transition to larger implementations, and create training and guidance materials.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Information Science, Data Science, Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Several years of experience with business systems, information management, digital transformation, data management, or related disciplines.
• Strong experience documenting processes, systems, workflows, and information structures.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to business and scientific stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.

Nice to have

• Experience with information architecture, metadata management, data governance, or system documentation.
• Background in R&D, food, life science, manufacturing, or another technical environment.
• Familiarity with LIMS, ELN, PLM, SQL databases, integrations, digital platforms, Power BI, and reporting tools.
• Experience in data science, data engineering, process mapping, business analysis, digital transformation, or system implementation projects.
• Knowledge of data quality, master data concepts, AI, and digital technologies applied to R&D.
