Production Operator - 3rd Shift - 90 Day Increase Eligible

What you will do

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical production and facility equipment.
• Diagnose and replace faulty electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
• Repair wiring, motors, relays, switches, sensors, gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
• Perform scheduled and emergency repairs, preventive maintenance, lubrication, cleaning, and equipment testing.
• Complete electronic work orders and maintenance records, and communicate incomplete work to managers or the next shift.
• Participate in training, knowledge sharing, chemical-handling procedures, and workplace safety programs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Technical aptitude and safe use of basic hand and power tools; technicians must provide their own basic hand tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot control circuits, electrical components, mechanical equipment, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read technical instructions, operation manuals, schematics, and diagrams, and use computers for electronic work orders and email.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift, lift 40 pounds, work in confined spaces, and work in crouched or overhead positions.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English is required; overtime, including weekends, is required.

Nice to have

• Two years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, or installing manufacturing equipment.
• Trade experience in electrical, mechanical, electronics, HVAC, plumbing, or welding.
• Licensing or journeyman status.
