Focus on troubleshooting across operating system, virtualization, storage, networking, and hardware layers, coordinating infrastructure changes, and improving production stability.

What you will do
- Administer, configure, patch, secure, and maintain Linux systems across production and non-production environments.
- Manage KVM and VMware ESXi virtualization platforms, including virtual machine provisioning, migrations, monitoring, upgrades, and recovery.
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and decommission Dell and HPE physical servers and related data center infrastructure.
- Perform rack-level activities, cabling, power management, firmware updates, hardware replacement, and coordination with data center providers and vendors.
- Develop Bash and Python automation for administration, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and recovery tasks.
- Support incident response, root cause analysis, planned maintenance, security remediation, and infrastructure stability improvements.
Requirements
- Strong Linux system administration, troubleshooting, patching, package management, backup, and recovery experience.
- Experience with Bash and Python scripting, Linux security, system hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
- Experience administering KVM and VMware ESXi environments, provisioning virtual machines, and troubleshooting virtualization infrastructure.
- Experience administering physical servers, particularly Dell and HPE enterprise hardware, including component replacement and hardware diagnostics.
- Experience working in data center environments with server installation, rack activities, power infrastructure, and hardware lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of networking, storage, monitoring, centralized logging, enterprise backup solutions, VMware vCenter, high availability, and incident management is preferred.
