Focus on integrating network elements, administering monitoring servers, troubleshooting with Bash and SQL, and supporting high availability through on-call operations.
Location: Riga, Latvia
Salary: €3,000–€3,600 per month before tax

What you will do
- Manage, maintain, and continuously improve existing monitoring infrastructure.
- Research and recommend monitoring tools and technologies to expand monitoring capabilities.
- Own the implementation and development of a centralized monitoring and alerting system.
- Administer, configure, and support monitoring servers and related systems.
- Integrate network elements and solutions into the monitoring environment and configure alarms and KPIs.
- Create system documentation and improve monitoring procedures and best practices.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience administering Linux environments.
- Experience creating, troubleshooting, and maintaining Bash and Python scripts.
- Knowledge of database administration concepts and proficiency with SQL queries.
- Experience with system and service monitoring, network management protocols, and IP and cellular network protocols.
- Excellent written and spoken English required.
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and work outside regular business hours to maintain high availability.
Nice to have
- Experience with mobile and IP network monitoring solutions.
- Experience with IBM SANO/SevOne, Polystar Kalix, Grafana, Prometheus, or Loki.
- Experience with containerization tools such as Docker or Podman.
- Interest in mobile technologies, IoT, and emerging technologies.
