TL;DR
DevOps / SRE Engineer (Cloud & AI-Ops Focus) (CI/CD, Kubernetes, IaC): Building and operating automated delivery infrastructure for legacy .NET and modern cloud-native applications with an accent on pipeline automation, infrastructure as code, observability, and reliability. Focus on modernizing deployment workflows, integrating AI-assisted engineering and DevSecOps controls, and solving complex operational challenges across VM, Windows Server, Docker, and Kubernetes environments.
Location: Pécs, Budapest, Debrecen, or Szeged, Hungary. Remote work is available only within Hungary due to European taxation regulations.

What you will do
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, and ArgoCD for legacy .NET and modern containerized deployments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management with Terraform, Ansible, or Bicep.
- Operate mission-critical applications, maintaining availability, performance, and rapid incident response.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and tracing with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and OpenTelemetry.
- Build operational workflows with Microsoft Power Automate or PowerApps, including incident escalation and deployment approval gates.
- Integrate secrets management, access controls, vulnerability scanning, and other DevSecOps practices into delivery pipelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Systems Engineering across enterprise application lifecycles.
- Experience managing traditional infrastructure including VMs, IIS, and Windows Server, as well as Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments.
- Expert knowledge of CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and Bash; Python or C# experience is advantageous for advanced automation.
- Strong focus on observability, incident management, high availability, and proactive outage prevention.
- Ability to work remotely from Hungary or from one of the listed Hungarian sites.
