Associate, Portfolio Operations (Fintech)

What you will do

• Support accurate investment fund valuations by reviewing and reconciling cash balances, investment positions, dividend income, interest income, and other fund activity.
• Review client transactions, corporate actions, and market prices to ensure portfolios are valued accurately.
• Investigate and resolve differences between fund records and information from custodians, brokers, and other counterparties.
• Verify prices for shares, bonds, futures, options, and derivative products using Bloomberg, ICE, and other market data sources.
• Assist with new client onboarding and improve operational processes and technology solutions.
• Respond to internal and external client queries, meet service standards, and build stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent discipline.
• One to two years of experience in accounting, audit, financial services, or a similar field.
• Understanding of equities, bonds, forwards, futures, options, and OTC derivatives.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and functions such as TEXT, LOOKUP, and MATH.
• Intermediate VBA, SQL, or other programming knowledge is an advantage.

Nice to have

• Experience in investor services, fund administration, or asset management.
• Knowledge of Bloomberg and ICE market data sources.
