TL;DR
Blockchain Data Scientist (AI/LLM) (AI/Web3): Exploring applications of large language models, agents, and other AI technologies in on-chain trading, data analysis, and intelligent applications with an accent on technical research, prototype validation, and reproducible experimentation. Focus on rapidly building PoCs, advancing pre-research into demonstrable product prototypes, and collaborating with algorithm and engineering teams.
Location: Taipei, Taiwan; work-from-home arrangement may vary depending on the business team's work.

What you will do
- Track frontier developments in AI and blockchain/cryptocurrency and produce technical analysis.
- Research applications of large language models, agents, and related technologies in on-chain trading, data analysis, and intelligent applications.
- Build technical prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate innovative ideas and produce reproducible experimental conclusions.
- Advance research outcomes into demonstrable and evaluable product prototypes.
- Collaborate with algorithm and engineering teams to move research topics toward implementation.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Master's or PhD program in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to commit to stable weekly internship hours.
- Foundational knowledge of at least one area including large language models, agents, blockchain, smart contracts, or DeFi.
- Proficiency in Python and the ability to independently develop prototypes.
- Strong learning, communication, documentation, and technical research skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with LLM or agent projects, research papers, or open-source contributions.
- Familiarity with Solidity, blockchain development, on-chain data analysis, wallet and transaction interaction, DeFi, or on-chain trading.
- Personal AI and crypto projects, hackathons, or relevant internship experience.
- Publications at conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, or ACL, or outstanding open-source projects.
