What you will do
- Partner with affiliate leadership to embed compliance, ethics, and data privacy into business strategy and operations across Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia.
- Establish country compliance and privacy priorities based on business needs, risk profiles, and SEA and JAPAC strategy.
- Provide independent, risk-based compliance and privacy judgment in business and governance decisions.
- Lead the localization and implementation of global compliance and privacy programs, including risk assessments, policy enhancements, systems, and training.
- Oversee risk-based monitoring, audits, investigations, remediation, and escalation of significant or cross-market risks.
- Serve as Data Protection Officer for Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia, overseeing ROPA management, privacy training, and personal data processing reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and approximately 8–10 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and strong oral and written Thai communication skills.
- Profound knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and understanding of business objectives.
- Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, with prior experience in compliance, internal controls, risk management, audit, or paralegal work.
- Strong presentation, training, stakeholder management, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure with high ethics and integrity.
