TL;DR
Director, Enterprise Software (EHR platform) (Enterprise Architecture/.NET/AWS): Leading the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise services and applications for behavioral health EHR platforms with an accent on scalable microservices, serverless applications, and engineering excellence. Focus on modernizing legacy systems, enforcing performance and reliability standards, and building high-performing architecture and development teams.
Location: Hybrid schedule in Nashville or Tampa, United States; remote candidates will not be considered.

What you will do
- Define and evolve enterprise architecture vision, standards, and guidelines for services and applications.
- Lead architecture and engineering teams in partnership with QA, Product Management, DevOps, and Infrastructure.
- Set requirements for scalability, performance, security, reliability, and observability.
- Drive delivery excellence, continuous improvement, and predictable execution.
- Communicate priorities, responsibilities, progress, and technical direction across stakeholders.
- Modernize platforms, processes, and tooling while tracking team, delivery, and technical-quality KPIs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience managing software architecture and development teams on large-scale systems and digital transformation initiatives.
- 15+ years of hands-on experience designing and building scalable web and mobile software solutions.
- Experience with Model-Driven Development, Domain-Driven Design, containerized .NET Core microservices, and serverless applications such as AWS Lambda.
- Experience with DevOps toolchains including Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or CircleCI, plus monitoring and logging platforms such as ELK, New Relic, or Splunk.
- Ability to work on a hybrid schedule in Nashville or Tampa; remote work is not available.
Nice to have
- Experience with healthcare interoperability standards, especially HL7 or FHIR.
- Experience modernizing monolithic or legacy systems into cloud-native, microservices-based architectures.
- Ability to influence product and platform roadmaps through technical insight.
