Senior Group Accountant (Fintech)

hirify.global Payments is a Stockholm-based fintech founded in 2019 that uses open banking to provide instant account-to-account payments across 27 European markets.

What you will do

• Own monthly closing processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analysis.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and group consolidation.
• Prepare annual reports for the Swedish group parent and licensed entity in line with K3 standards.
• Handle tax and VAT reporting and contribute to transfer pricing management.
• Act as system owner for NetSuite and drive finance process improvements, automation, and AI adoption.
• Support audits, communicate with auditors, and participate in finance and accounting projects.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, including group accounting.
• Knowledge of K3 accounting standards and accounting practices.
• Strong finance systems knowledge; NetSuite experience is preferred.
• Experience driving automation and adopting AI tools in group accounting.
• Fluent Swedish and fluent or highly comfortable written and spoken English are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or business administration.
