What you will do
- Lead the conceptualization, design, and iteration of game mechanics, systems, and levels for incubation projects.
- Develop gameplay loops, player progression models, and core interaction patterns.
- Create game design documents, feature specifications, and wireframes to communicate design intent.
- Collaborate with developers to implement and refine gameplay features.
- Run playtests, evaluate player feedback, and improve prototypes.
- Maintain a backlog of game concepts and support game pitches and internal evaluations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Game Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant game design experience, including internships.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design systems, levels, or complete game experiences.
- Proficiency with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine and design tools such as level editors and visual scripting.
- Understanding of user experience, player psychology, and retention mechanics.
- Strong communication, documentation, and rapid iteration skills.
