Focus on coordinating startup activities, solving complex engine and control-system issues, analyzing operating data, and supporting extended customer-site deployments.
Location: Fort Worth or Houston, Texas; onsite office work when not deployed, with 70–80% travel throughout the United States and Canada and occasional travel to Germany.
Salary: $112,710–$169,060 per year.

What you will do
- Oversee onsite installation and audit generator sets, natural gas engines, and auxiliary equipment against guidelines, drawings, and engineering documentation.
- Plan and execute commissioning, startup, functional testing, and operational readiness activities for mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Perform diagnostics, calibration, root cause analysis, and technical troubleshooting throughout installation and commissioning.
- Support performance testing, validate contractual requirements, analyze operating data, and identify corrective actions.
- Coordinate daily activities with EPC contractors, project managers, OEM partners, customers, and project teams.
- Prepare audits, commissioning reports, punch lists, test documentation, warranty records, and project updates while providing technical guidance onsite.
Requirements
- Engineering degree, technical diploma, marine engineering certification, or equivalent technical education and field experience.
- Hands-on experience servicing medium-speed or high-speed natural gas or diesel reciprocating engines.
- Commissioning experience in power generation, Oil & Gas, marine propulsion, or a similar industrial environment.
- Ability to work onsite in Texas, travel extensively throughout the United States and Canada, and support long-duration customer-site assignments.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required customer, site, or U.S. Government security clearances.
