What you will do
- Pitch and produce timely social media posts that drive traffic to CNBC.com and increase brand awareness.
- Work with colleagues in Singapore and Europe to distribute and amplify CNBC content across social platforms.
- Support the planning, production, and editing of short-form and social media videos.
- Collect and analyze audience and social media data and prepare regular reports.
- Research, report, write, and upload news stories for CNBC.com when required.
- Collaborate with TV, Features, and Digital newsroom teams on research, fact-checking, news pitches, and joint projects.
Requirements
- University undergraduate majoring in business, economics, mass communication, media production, or a similar field.
- Existing legal eligibility to work in Singapore is required.
- Availability for a full-time internship from January through June 2027.
- Strong interest in business news, economics, financial markets, social media, and digital platforms.
- Basic video editing skills and knowledge of graphics software; Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop experience are relevant.
- Ability to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines, communicate effectively, take initiative, and work flexible shifts including early mornings.
