Senior Animation Programmer (C++)

Location: On-site at the Oxford or Warwick studio, United Kingdom. Relocation support is available, including moving assistance and temporary accommodation.

What you will do

• Develop and implement animation code for the proprietary Asura engine.
• Maintain and extend animation tools, content creation features, and runtime systems.
• Collaborate with animators, technical animators, content creators, and project engineers.
• Write and test complex C++ classes and animation functionality for multiple projects.
• Diagnose and fix complex bugs using debugging and profiling tools.
• Create, review, and update technical and user documentation while supporting programmers across disciplines.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of real-time animation system architecture and internal workings.
• High proficiency in C++ and experience maintaining complex systems.
• Confident use of IDEs, debugging tools, and profiling techniques.
• Experience designing and implementing finite state machines and animation control systems.
• Good working knowledge of 3D mathematics and geometry.
• Permanent right to work in the UK is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
