Cybersecurity Intern (AI Security)

Location: Onsite at the Kansas City, Missouri office. The program runs for 10 weeks from June 2 through August 6, with a schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

What you will do

• Learn the operations of a corporate cyber operations security team.
• Support incident response and act as a first responder for incoming cyber incidents.
• Assess and triage reported cyber incidents alongside security team members.
• Work on phishing, data loss prevention, and AI security activities.
• Help define and document security processes and procedures.
• Apply academic knowledge and mentor guidance to cybersecurity projects.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled undergraduate rising senior graduating between December 2027 and spring 2028.
• Studying cybersecurity, information security, data security, AI security, or a related field.
• Passion for information security and risk management.
• Ability to work onsite at the Kansas City, Missouri office according to the scheduled work hours.
• U.S. work authorization without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
