TL;DR
Software Engineer, Quality Software Engineer, Quality (AI) (Risk Platform): Building test automation, tooling, and quality gates for risk-critical decisioning systems with an accent on distributed backend services, deterministic test data, contract testing, and jurisdiction-specific coverage. Focus on validating fraud, screening, transaction scoring, ML models, and LLM agents through CI/CD, release verification, and performance testing.

What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end and regression automation for onboarding, KYC/KYB, merchant risk, transaction scoring, and screening flows.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD and establish release-quality gates, smoke tests, and monitoring-backed post-release verification.
- Create deterministic test data and isolated environments covering fraud, screening, and jurisdiction-specific scenarios.
- Introduce contract testing between the Risk Platform and upstream and downstream services.
- Own testing and release acceptance for major client-facing projects while partnering with engineering and product on acceptance criteria.
- Champion testability and quality practices and mentor engineers on test design and automation.
Requirements
- Experience as an SDET or Software Engineer in Test with strong programming skills and experience building test frameworks.
- Experience testing large-scale distributed backend systems, REST APIs, message-driven flows, and service-to-service integrations.
- Hands-on experience with API and end-to-end automation, CI/CD, contract testing, test data, and test environments.
- Strong understanding of deterministic data, isolated environments, reliable tests, and fast feedback.
- Experience using AI for test generation, coverage analysis, and failure triage, or testing ML models and LLM agents.
- Ability to work independently in an Agile team with strong written and verbal communication.
Nice to have
- Experience in risk, fraud, payments, compliance, or other regulated financial domains.
- Experience with jurisdiction-specific behavior, contract testing tools such as Pact, or test-data and environment tooling.
- Experience testing ML- or LLM-based systems, including evaluation harnesses and guardrails.
- Experience with performance and latency testing for critical-path systems.
