Temp, Assistant Accessories Designer (Accessories)

Location: HQ - Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY; 100% on-site

What you will do

• Support accessories designers and the Head of Accessories across multiple projects.
• Research, sketch, create CADs and tech packs, and support artwork development for accessories styles.
• Help manage product development from initial sketches through pre-production and production samples.
• Maintain branding decks, seasonal color palettes, trim charts, samples, and development-stage organization.
• Attend design and milestone meetings, prepare seasonal samples, and recap decisions with cross-functional partners.
• Coordinate sample hand-offs with SMU partners and manage archive loans and returns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of accessories or graphic design experience in the fashion industry and a portfolio of work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop with strong rendering capabilities.
• Understanding of soft goods accessories development, construction, and artwork application techniques.
• Experience with product development timelines, mood boards, market research, Google Suite, and PLM systems.
• Strong technical, communication, organization, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
