What you will do
- Assemble mechanical, electrical, and electronic components using schematics, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Use hand tools, power tools, precision equipment, and soldering tools to complete accurate assembly work.
- Inspect parts, perform functional tests, and complete quality checks on finished assemblies.
- Troubleshoot assembly issues, make adjustments or repairs, and coordinate technical resolutions with engineering, quality, and production teams.
- Document assembly steps, measurements, test results, and completed work in databases and internal systems.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized production area while meeting production targets.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience in assembly, manufacturing, or production environments.
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, measurement devices, and/or soldering equipment.
- Basic mechanical or electrical knowledge, strong attention to detail, and troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive motions, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds; heavier loads may be handled with a pallet jack.
Nice to have
- Associate degree, technical school education, or relevant certification.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office or comparable workplace software.
