Principal Designer, UX - Hardware

Salary: $135,000–$170,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead UX design and development for new hardware products and experiences.
• Design product experiences focused on ease of use, high-quality craft, and consumer value.
• Own deliverables from concept exploration through detailed hardware and software specifications.
• Collaborate with UX, Industrial Design, CMF, Product Development, Engineering, Advanced Development, Project Management, and Consumer Insights.
• Mentor junior designers and drive strategic impact across UX and the wider Design organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in consumer product design across hardware and software.
• Portfolio demonstrating professional design work and business outcomes.
• Deep experience with industry-standard design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple simultaneous programs in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with 3D software tools.
