Engineering Internship Program (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Dublin, Ireland; reliable commuting to Ballyboughal, North County Dublin is required

What you will do

• Support engineering projects involving product development, testing, manufacturing, and process improvement.
• Assist with research, design, development, evaluation, fabrication, and assembly of products, components, and prototypes.
• Support product testing and validation, including test plans, reliability testing, performance testing, and functional testing.
• Conduct engineering investigations, root cause analysis, and analysis of engineering data.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, work instructions, and testing records.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Compliance teams while following safety and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in aerospace, mechanical, manufacturing, electrical, mechatronics, industrial, or another relevant engineering discipline.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, organisational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Full driving licence and ability to reliably commute to Ballyboughal, North County Dublin.

Nice to have

• Exposure to CAD, engineering design tools, or data analysis software.
• Experience from university projects, engineering competitions, or previous internships.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, continuous improvement, engineering testing, and validation.
• Understanding of aerospace, aviation, or highly regulated engineering environments.
• Experience preparing technical reports and presentations.
