What you will do
- Monitor system hardware, networks, infrastructure software, servers, applications, and input/output devices.
- Protect enterprise data and maintain user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations.
- Install and configure hardware and software, including access controls, backups, restores, and firewalls.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues affecting desktops, servers, printers, and workstations.
- Maintain network asset inventories, technical documentation, configurations, and process information.
- Recommend and perform upgrades, patches, reconfigurations, and technology improvements while supporting cybersecurity compliance.
Requirements
- Technical knowledge of networks, PCs, operating systems, hardware, and local area network administration.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting software and hardware.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Customer service orientation and strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
- Ability to support compliance with cybersecurity frameworks applicable to defense suppliers, including NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, and ISO 27001.
- Position is based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
